Details of vacancies for the candidates:

The notification is released to fill 10500 vacancies under the recruitment project 2013 by the Tamil Nadu Uniform Service Recruitment Board. These job applications are designed specially as per the regions from where candidate comes. The board has introduced special page on its website from where candidates can downloads its application form according to their resident town or district which is categorized separately - central, west, south, north zone. The position offered in the press release is for constable and sub inspector, which are permissible to both men and women.

Candidates’ eligibility will be tested on various parameters but the prominently few criteria are crucial for them that are not negotiable.

Fitness required in candidate:

There are several activity organized by the board to test the stamina and fitness of candidates. In this context they take running, jumping, and different exercises to exempt the weak candidates. The two measurements are necessary to meet with standard format are height and chest size. But reserved category applicants were granted some relaxation in this term. Here women candidates have to qualify height criteria.

Age Limit restriction for the candidates:

 Candidates’ age will be calculated on the basis of date 1.1.2013. The age required to apply for the sub inspector and constable is between 20 to 28 years and 18 to 24 years respectively. However some relaxation is provided to candidates coming from reserved quota

Addition to this candidate should hold any degree for sub inspector and 10^th pass certificate for constable post.

TNUSRB has introduced its application form online which can be downloaded from their official website http://www.tnusrb.tn.gov.in . Candidates should complete the application form in all respect as per the instructions given on website and sent it to TNUSRB Chennai by post.

Candidates will have to go through written and physical test to get selected for both posts.

Eligibility Criteria :-

 

Age Limit :- Candidates should possess 18 to 30 years for Deputy Commercial Tax Officer, 18 to 40 years for Jr Employment Officer, and 22 to 30 years for Probation Officers, 20 to 30 years for Sub – registrar Officer II, 18 to 30 years for remaining Posts.

Qualification :- Graduation in Arts and Science from any recognized university.

Application fees:- Rs.125/- (Examination Fee Rs. 75/- + Cost of Application Rs.50/-) for Preliminary exam, Rs. 100/- for Main Exam through online & offline mode.
i) Through Online payment fee must be paid through Net Banking, using Credit Card or Debit card, an additional page is added.
ii) Through Offline payment fee paid through Challan (generated from bank website) in any Indian Bank branch or Post Office within two days from the date of submission of application.
