Eligibility Criteria of AP TET 2013 :

Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET-September, 2013) will be held for those candidates who want to become  Teachers of Class I-V and Class VI - VIII in the state of Andhra Pradesh.

Education Qualification : All candidates who possess     Intermediate/ Senior Secondary with Diploma in Elementary Education/ B.EI.Ed/ B.A/ B.Sc/ B.Com D.Ed.,/ B.Ed., / Language Pandit or equivalent qualifications and candidates pursuing final year of the  courses during the academic year 2012-2013.


Application Fee : Candidates must Pay Fee Rs. 200. Candidates can pay the fee through AP ONLINE or e-Seva/mee seva centers between 15.07.2013 and 31.07.2013.

Exam Pattern of AP TET 2013 : The test (APTET) will be conducted in 2 papers viz. Paper-I & Paper-II.

The candidates who intend to be teachers for classes I to Vhave to appear for Paper-I and the candidates intending to be teachers for classes VI to VIII have to appear for Paper-II. The candidates who intend to be teachers for all classes from I to VIII can appear for both papers, Paper-I and Paper-II.


Date and Timings of APTET 2013 : APTET will be conducted on 01st September, 2013 in all the Districts of the State. The duration and timings of the test are given below:
Paper-I : 09.30 am to 12.00 noon (duration 2 ½ hours)
Paper-II : 02.30 pm to 05.00 pm (duration 2 ½ hours)

Eligibility criteria for K-SET 2013 :

Age Limit : There is no upper age limit for applying for Lectureship.

Education Qualification : The candidate must have a Master’s Degree from a UGC recognized university with minimum 55% marks for General/BC candidates and 50% marks for SC/ST/PH/VH. Candidates who are appearing in the final year of their Post-Graduate examination may also appear in this examination.
